The Bishops of the Conference meet once each year in Plenary Session.

Its members are the diocesan, coadjutor and auxiliary Bishops, as well as the emeritus or retired bishops who perform some special task by mandate of the Apostolic See or the AEC.

There are 25 bishops in the AEC region, 22 of whom are active members of the AEC.
