Bishop Tiedemann, C.P. made his first profession as a Passionist on August 22, 1971, his final profession on August 22, 1974, and was ordained to  the priesthood on May 16, 1975.Bishop Tiedemann, C.P. received an M.A.-M.Div. Degree from St. John’s  University, Long Island, NY, in 1976.  Also that year he studied Spanish at the Instituto de Idiomas in Bolivia and in Colombia. span>Until his election as Consultor to the Provincial of the Passionists in New   Jersey, Bishop Tiedemann, C.P., worked exclusively in pastoral ministry in the United States and in Honduras:
